FAQ'S
1 What is CBD?1.1 What is CBD? Cannabidiol (CBD) is the second major cannabinoid found in cannabis plants such as hemp and marijuana. Unlike the other major cannabinoid, THC, CBD is not psychoactive. The effects of CBD include: alertness at low doses, sedation at high doses, pain reduction, relaxation of muscle spasms, strong anti-inflammatory, stopping nausea/vomiting, reducing anxiety/depression, combating psychotic thoughts, antioxidant, anticonvulsant, neuroprotective and antitumor effects.1.2 Where does CBD come from?CBD is generally found in hemp and marijuana. They are two different varieties that come from the same plant species (Cannabis sativa L). However, it is important to note that CBD is generally found in higher concentrations in hemp plants. All of our products are sourced from legal European hemp varieties.1.3 How does CBD work?CBD works by binding to cannabinoid receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid system. These receptors have been found in virtually every cell and tissue type in the human body (hence the seemingly endless array of uses for CBD).1.4 What does “full spectrum” mean? There are a number of different ways to extract CBD from the hemp plant. Probably the two most commonly searched for results are CBD “isolate” and “full spectrum” CBD. Both terms refer to the number of compounds the product contains, namely different plant materials and cannabinoids naturally occurring in the plant. “Isolate” contains nothing but the CBD itself, which is an extensive process that involves various filtering procedures. We love everything our hemp plants have to offer, so we pride ourselves on offering true full spectrum products. Not only does this mean significantly fewer processing procedures, but we embrace the full range of amazing compounds that the plant naturally contains, such as terpenes, flavonoids and vitamins. But most importantly, we offer the full spectrum of cannabinoids working to their full potential together through what is known as the “entourage effect”.1.5 What is the entourage effect?Basically, the entourage effect means that the individual compounds interact with each other and with our body, creating a stronger influence than the individual compounds alone. This is therefore a synergistic effect, with the combined “group power” being greater than the total power of each of them taken separately. This enhances the therapeutic effects of CBD products and expands the range of benefits they can offer.1.6 What is the endocannabinoid system? The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is the most extensive network in the body in terms of the number of receptors involved. These receptors interact with the active components of cannabis. The elaborate network of ECS receptors is based in the brain and extends throughout the body – from organs (i.e. the motor and immune systems) to the skin and even bones. Its main purpose is to interact in a unique way with cannabinoid-like substances.1.7 What are the benefits of using CBD?CBD currently has a whole range of benefits, applications, and promising possibilities. Research and studies are underway in countries such as Canada and Israel.1.8 Do I need a prescription to take CBD?No, you absolutely do not need a prescription to take CBD, as CBD is not an FDA-approved pharmaceutical or dietary supplement. You can buy CBD without a prescription.2 Happease x Magic King2.1 What is the CBD content of Happease products? Our Vappease Lite contains 30% CBD, which is about 90g per pen and Vappease Classic contains 50%, which is about 250mg per cartridge. To learn more about our products, click here.2.2 Why do you use MCT oil? Why don’t you use VG and PG like other companies?By using coconut MCT oil, we provide a safe and smooth vaping experience without any side effects. We do not use VG or PG.Propylene glycol (PG) is a diluting agent used primarily in nicotine e-juices. It breaks down into acetaldehyde and formaldehyde when heated to 230°C. We recommend avoiding any products that list this ingredient.Vegetable glycerin (VG) is another substance primarily used in nicotine e-juices. It has several negative side effects, including nausea. Again, avoid it if possible.2.3 How does Happease extract CBD from hemp? Our extracts are obtained from ethically grown Futura 75 hemp (THC<0.2) from fields that are legally permitted on the European hemp market. The plants we use are refined using supercritical CO2 extraction to create a concentrated oil, then distilled for purification.2.4 Why use vaporizers?Since they look almost like a pen, they are easy to take with you anywhere. There is no need to wait to use them: they do not require heating. The biggest advantage, however, is that vaporizers generally vaporize the CBD extract stored in the replaceable cartridge rather than burning it, which avoids releasing harmful compounds.2.5 What types of testing do you do on your products?First, we test our products for any unwanted substances (THC, mycotoxins, microbial contamination, etc.) to ensure that they do not end up in our products. Then, after distillation, we do another test to ensure that the quality of our products remains intact. This further increases the purity of our extracts. Before preparing our final product, we systematically perform a third test to check for residual solvent contamination and to confirm that our extracts have been mixed correctly. For our final test, we select devices from our already packaged products to verify their purity and ensure that our vaping devices are working perfectly.2.6 What is the difference between Mountain River, Jungle Spirit and Strawberry Field? The main difference between them is their terpene profile which gives them a different taste and especially different effects and sensations.3 CBD Oils3.1 What is the difference between Sleep, Focus, Balance, Relax and Relief? While all formulas are offered in 10ml format, the differences between our Happease oils lie mainly in their distinct terpene profiles, but also in the different percentages of CBD they contain (5%, 10%, 20%, 30%). They therefore differ not only in their taste, but also, as their name suggests, in the individual effects they achieve.3.2 How many mg of CBD are contained in Happease oils? Are there any other ingredients?5% oils contain 500 mg of CBD10% oils contain 1000 mg of CBD20% oils contain 2000 mg of CBD30% oils contain 3000 mg of CBDTo ensure the healthiest possible experience for you and our environment, our Happease oils contain 100% natural, certified organic ingredients. They are made from 100% pure, certified organic MCT oil (fractionated coconut oil), CBD extract derived from certified organic hemp, and terpenes.3.3 How can I be sure that the oils are safe to use?The quality of all our Happease products and therefore the health of our customers is our top priority. To ensure the safety of our CBD oils, we subject them to numerous laboratory tests throughout the process, from the seed of the plant to the final product. (see our method). To start the process as cleanly as possible, we only use 100% organic industrial hemp plants, which are tested again during their growth for the presence of pesticides. The extraction is done using the supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) extraction method, which does not contain any solvents and purifies the plant of any possible bacteria or mold. To ensure this, we retest the CBD oil after extraction for the presence of pesticides, microbes, solvents, and heavy metals. With these safety measures during production, we want to offer you the purest oil possible.3.4 How is Happease CBD Oil Made? Our Happease CBD Oil is extracted using the supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) extraction method. This process has many advantages as it results in the purest, safest and cleanest product for the consumer and the environment. The CO2 can be recycled and acts as a cleaning agent, so any mold, mildew or bacteria is killed in the process. Additionally, compared to solvent-based extraction methods, the final product is guaranteed to be free of residual solvents, making it as pure and natural as possible. This way, we can guarantee you the highest levels of cannabinoids and terpenes in our hemp extract. To achieve a truly complete oil, the extract is then combined with organic terpenes and high-quality MCT oil from certified organic fractionated coconut oil.3.5 What gives the oil its specific taste? The distinctive flavor of each oil comes from its individual terpene profile, crafted specifically for this unique experience. What they do have in common, however, is the underlying earthy note that indicates their unfiltered, all-natural, full-spectrum origin.3.6 How do I store my Happease oil? After use, close the lid tightly and try to store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. This is how it will last the longest. Officially, the oil has a shelf life of up to 6 months after opening.3.7 Is the oil still usable if it has changed color or sedimented?Yes, it is still usable. Natural discoloration or sedimentation may occur, as we use the whole plant for the oil extraction process, which is rich in active compounds. This is a natural process, so it is harmless and still safe to use. Please remember that the oil officially expires 6 months after opening and should be stored as per our recommendations above in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.3.8 What is the ideal dosage and recommended intake of the oil?The ideal dosage for each individual depends on a number of different factors. These include for example each person’s general health and use of prescription medications, body chemistry and weight and of course sensitivity to CBD in general. The desired effect is particularly important. Since we unfortunately cannot provide you with personalized usage guidelines, we generally recommend that you start with the smallest portion and cautiously increase the number of portions over time until the desired effect is achieved. In this way, no side effects can occur and you can comfortably test your sensitivity if you start using CBD products. The standard portion of our Happease oil is 1/4 ml, which corresponds to 3 drops. As we said, we are all different and it depends entirely on your intention of use. This is why some people are already satisfied with a standard serving (12.5 mg at 5%, 25 mg at 10%, 50 mg at 20%, 75 mg at 30%) and it is just as common to use CBD oil at a dose of 10 mg, 20 mg or 50 mg at one time and increase the amount over time. To give you an idea, know that the average human being can tolerate about 20 mg per kilogram of their body weight per day without experiencing any negative effects. This means that it is not unusual to ingest a dose of 50 mg or more. Start slowly, be aware of the effect you want to achieve and listen to your body.4 Vaporizing CBD4.1 What is the difference between Mountain River, Jungle Spirit, Strawberry Field, Tropical Sunrise and Lemon Tree? The only difference between the five flavors is the specific terpene profile we use to blend the distillate, each one is made for the individual taste and effect of the given formula. For more information, see the detailed description of each formula we offer above.4.2 What distinguishes the Classic pen from the Lite pen? Both have essentially the same function, but differ in their use and in the technical equipment they contain. While the Lite version is a single-use disposable model, which allows you to take your first steps into the world of vaping, which is immediately ready to use and requires no maintenance, the Classic pen comes with a complete starter kit for a long-lasting vaping experience. The starter kit comes with our five Happease formulas to try, the cartridge to refill, a battery and a charger. Once you get used to it, you can always and easily order a refill to continue vaping what you like the most. All our products are developed and manufactured in the EU according to European standards.

The only difference between the five flavors is the specific terpene profile we use to blend them into the distillate, each crafted for the individual taste and effect of the given formula.
6 Terpenes
6.1 What are terpenes? And why use them?
No matter what your favorite fruit or flower is, the terpenes in its scent or flavor tell your brain what you are smelling or tasting. However, the most important thing to remember about terpenes is that every time terpene molecules come into contact with your lungs, mouth, or skin, they influence how you feel.
The distinct composition of terpenes in a certain plant generates a specific essential oil, unique to a single plant species, such as lavender, cannabis, or rose, and each variety has its own terpene profile.
There are over 30,000 identifiable terpenes in nature, produced not only by plants, but also by animals and bacteria, for example.
Terpenes are also subject to the entourage effect: when combined with other substances and our own hormones, they stimulate specific neurons in the brain, creating a different feeling for each type of terpene. Since terpenes are all about scent and taste, adding them to a product can enhance the scent and flavor of the product.
With all that you now know about terpenes, you probably won't be surprised to learn that they are commonly used to mimic the flavor and/or smell of a specific plant in a wide range of cosmetics, perfumes, and food flavorings.
