FAQ’s

1 What's CBD?
1.1 What's CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is the second major cannabinoid found in cannabis plants like hemp and Cannabis. Unlike the other major cannabinoid THC, CBD is non-psychoactive.

The effects of CBD include: alerting at low doses, sedating at high doses, reduces pain, relaxes muscle spasms, potent anti-inflammatory, stops nausea/vomiting, reduces anxiety/depression, counters psychotic thoughts, anti-oxidant, anti-convulsant, neuro-protectant, and anti-tumor effects.

1.2 Where does CBD come from?

In general, CBD is found in Hemp and Cannabis. These are two different varieties that come from the same species of plant (Cannabis sativa L). However, it's important to note that CBD is typically found in higher concentration in Hemp plants. All of our products come from legal Eu Hemp strains.

1.3 How does CBD work?

CBD functions by binding to cannabinoid receptors in the body's endocannabinoid system. These receptors have been found in virtually every cell and tissue type in the human body (hence the seemingly endless array of CBD uses).

1.4 What does full spectrum mean?

There are different ways of extracting CBD from the hemp plant. The two most common results aimed for are probably the CBD “isolate” and the “full-spectrum” CBD. Both terms refer to the number of compounds that the product contains, which are different plant materials and cannabinoids naturally occurring in the plant.

The “isolate” is containing nothing but CBD itself, which is an extensive process that includes various filtering procedures. We love everything our hemp plants have to offer and thus are proud to provide real full-spectrum products. Not only does this mean way less processing procedures, we embrace the full palate of amazing compounds the plant naturally comes with, like terpenes, flavonoids and vitamins.

More importantly though is that we offer the whole range of cannabinoids that unfold their maximum potential together through the so called “entourage-effect”.

1.5 What is the entourage-effect?

Basically the “entourage-effect” states that the different compounds interact with each other and with our bodies, thus create a stronger influence then the isolated compounds just by themselves.

So a synergetic effect, the combined “power of the group” working together is greater than the total power by each of them separately. This enhances the therapeutic effects of the CBD products and increases the range of benefits it can offer.

1.6 What's the endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is the most extensive network in the body when it comes to the number of receptors involved. These receptors interact with the active components found in cannabis.

The elaborate ECS receptor network is based in the brain and spreads throughout the body — from organs (ie motor and immune systems) to the skin and even to bones. Its main purpose is to interact uniquely with substances of the cannabinoid type.

1.7 What are the benefits of using CBD?

CBD currently has a range of benefits, applications and promising possibilities. Research and Studies are happening in countries such as Canada and Israel.

1.8 Do I need a prescription for CBD?

No, you absolutely don't need any prescription for taking CBD as the CBD is not an FDA approved pharmaceutical or dietary supplement. You may purchase CBD without a prescription.

2 Happiness x Magic King
2.1 How much CBD is in Happease products?

Our Vappease Lite contains 30% of CBD which is approximately around 90g per pen and Vappease Classic has 50% which is approx. 250mg per cartridge. You can find out more about our products here.

2.2 Why do you use MCT oil? Why don't you use VG and PG as other companies?

By using MCT oil from coconuts we provide a safe and smooth vaping experience with none of the side effects. We do not use VG and PG.

Propylene glycol (PG) is a thinning agent used mostly in nicotine e-juices. It breaks down to acetaldehyde and formaldehyde when heated to 230°C. We recommend avoiding any products that list this as an ingredient.

Vegetable glycerin (VG) is another substance that is mostly used in nicotine e-juices. It has several negative side-effects including nausea. Again, avoid it if possible.

2.3 How does Happease extract CBD from hemp?

Our extracts are obtained from Hemp Futura 75 (THC<0.2) that is grown ethically and responsibly sourced from legally authorized fields in the EU hemp market. The plants we use are refined through CO2 supercritical extraction to create concentrated oil and then distilled to be purified.

2.4 Why use vaporizers?

As they almost look like a pen, it is easy to take them with you everywhere you go. No need to wait when you want to use them: they don't need to heat up. The greatest advantage, however, is that vaporizers generally vaporize the CBD extract stored in the replaceable cartridge rather than combusting it, which prevents them from releasing unhealthy compounds.

2.5 What kind of test do you perform on your products?

First, we test our products for any unwanted substances (ie THC, mycotoxins, microbial contamination, etc.) to ensure they do not make their way to our products. Then after distillation, we run another test, just to be sure the quality of our products remains intact.

This further increases the purity of our extracts. Before preparing our final product, we systematically perform a third test to check for contamination by residual solvents and to confirm our extracts have been blended properly. For our final test, we select devices from our already packaged products to check for purity and make sure our vape devices work just right.

2.6 What is the difference between Mountain River, Jungle Spirit and Strawberry Field?

The main difference between them is their terpene profile which gives them a different taste and mainly different effects and feelings.

3 CBD Oils
3.1 What's the difference between Sleep, Focus, Balance, Relax and Relief?

While all formulas come in a 10ml size, the differences in our Happease oils lay mainly in their distinct terpene profiles, but as well in the different CBD percentages they contain (5%,10%,20%,30%). This makes them not only differ in their taste experience, but also, like the names suggest, in their individual effects best used for.

3.2 How many mg of CBD are contained in the Happease oils? Is anything else in them?
  • 5% oils are containing 500mg of CBD
  • 10% oils are containing 1000mg of CBD
  • 20% oils are containing 2000mg of CBD
  • 30% oils are containing 3000mg of CBD

To ensure the healthiest experience possible for you and our environment, our Happease oils contain 100% natural certified organic ingredients. They are made of 100% pure certified organic MCT Oil (Coconut fractionated Oil), CBD extract derivatives from certified organic hemp and terpenes.

3.3 How can I be assured the oils are safe to use?

The quality of all our Happease products and therefore the health of our customers has highest priority for us. To ensure the safety of our CBD oils they are diligently lab-tested in multiple ways throughout the entire process, from the plant seed to the final product. (see our way).

To start the process of as clean as possible we are only using 100% organic industrial hemp plants, which are tested again during their growth for pesticides. The extraction takes place using the Supercritical Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Extraction Method, which is solvent free and purifies the plant from any possible bacteria or moulds.

To be sure of that we re-test the CBD oil again for pesticides, microbes or solvents and heavy metals after the extraction is done. Through these safety measures during our production we aim to serve you with the purest oil possible to enjoy.

3.4 How is Happease CBD oils made?

Our Happease CBD oil is extracted through the Supercritical Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Extraction Method. This process has a variety of advantages due to it producing the most pure, safe and clean product for consumer and environment. The CO2 can be recycled and acts as a cleaning agent, so any kind of moulds, mildews or bacteria are killed during the process.

Additionally, compared to solvent-based extraction methods, the final product will be guaranteed residual solvent free, which makes it as pure and natural as possible. This way we can ensure you the highest levels of cannabinoids and terpenes in our hemp extract. For a truly full-spectrum oil the extract is then combined with organic terpenes and high quality MCT oil from certified organic fractionated coconut oil.

3.5 What gives the oil its specific taste?

The distinguishing flavor of each oil derives from its individual terpene profile manufactured especially for that unique experience. What they all have in common though is the underlying earthy note that indicates their unfiltered all natural and full spectrum origin.

3.6 How is my Happease oil best stored?

After using, seal the lid tightly and try to store it in a cool and dry place protected from direct sunlight. This way it will remain with you the longest. Officially it will last up to 6 months after opening.

3.7 Is the oil still usable if the color has changed or sedimentation occurs?

Yes, it is still usable. A natural discoloration or sedimentation may occur, since we use the whole plant for the extraction process of the oil, which is rich in active compounds. It is a natural process and therefore harmless and still safe to use. Just keep in mind that the oil officially expires 6 months after opening and to store it accordingly to our recommendation above in a dry and cool place out of the immediate sunlight.

3.8 What is the ideal dosage and the recommended intake of the oil?

The ideal serving size for each individual depends on a number of different factors. These include for example the state of overall health of each person and the usage of prescription medication, the body chemistry and weight and of course the sensitivity to CBD in general. Especially important is also the desired effect you are aiming for.

Since we unfortunately cannot provide you with individualized usage guidelines, we generally recommend you to start with the smallest serving size and carefully increase the number of servings over time until the desired effect is achieved.

This way no unwanted effect can occur and you can comfortably test your sensitivity if you're just starting to use CBD products.

The standard serving size of our Happease oil is 1/4ml which equals 3 drops.

As said, we are all different and it entirely depends on your intent of use. That's why some people are already satisfied with just one standard serving size (12.5mg using 5%, 25mg using 10%, 50mg using 20%, 75mg using 30%) and it is as common for people to use CBD oil in a dosage of 10mg, 20mg or 50mg at once and increase the amount over time.

To give you an orientation, note that an average human can tolerate approximate 20mg per kilogram daily of their own body weight without experiencing any negative effects. This means it is not unusual to ingest a 50 mg dose or more. Just start small, be aware of the effect you wish to attain and listen to your body.

6 Terpenes
6.1 What are terpenes? And why do you use them?

Whatever your favorite fruit or flower may be, the terpenes in its scent or taste tell your brain exactly what it is that you're smelling or tasting. However, the most important thing to remember about terpenes is that, every time terpene molecules come into contact with the lungs, mouth or skin, they affect the way you feel.

The distinct composition of terpenes within a certain plant generates a specific essential oil, specific to a single plant species, such as Lavender, Cannabis or Rose and each variety has it's own terpene profile.

There are well over 30,000 identifiable terpenes in nature, produced not only by plants but also by animals and bacteria, for example.
Terpenes are also subject to the entourage effect: when they're associated with other substances and our own hormones, they stimulate specific neurons in the brain, creating a different sensation for every type of terpene. As terpenes are all about scent and taste, adding them to any product enhances and improves the product's fragrance and flavor.

With everything you now know about terpenes, you probably won't be surprised to learn that they are commonly used to mimic a specific plant's flavor and/or scent in a wide range of cosmetic products, perfumes, and food flavorings.
